--"USA Tae Kwon Do has been just great for our 8 year old daughter Leah.  In the past 2 months since she started we have noticed her self-confidence, determination, and physical coordination developing beyond what we had hoped for.  She is happy to go and enjoys all the instructors and students.  We took a chance on USA Tae Kwon Do when we really didn't know much about Martial Arts training, based on meeting one of the instructors and watching a session we gave it a try.

Thanks very much to Master Hall and all the instructors."

"Tae Kwon Do Is Tops!!!

Tae Kwon Do classes have helped our entire family tremendously, over the past five years.  My husband Roy and grandson Justin have really kept at it and it has changed both of their lives.

Both Roy and Justin are shy-types (unlike myself) and Tae Kwon Do and the Martial Arts have taught them friend-making skills that they might not otherwise have learned.

My two men have their special bonding time together at classes each week.  They become closer, they get lots of exercise, as well as discipline.  They have greater respect for each other and give each other loads of encouragement.  Both men have very high self-esteem!

My grandson was diagnosed as hyperactive at seven years old; it was hard for him to concentrate.  My husband and I thought we would try Tae Kwon Do.  I had arthritis in my knees so that eliminated me from joining, so Roy gave it a try.  Justin wouldn't have to go it alone!

There have been no regrets for the last 5 years, both Roy and Justin continue to go to classes, demonstrations, kick-a-thons, in-house tournaments and, of course, those nerve-wracking testing nights.

Master Hall has added new things into the classes, to keep their interest high.  Unfortunately, the nunchakus and bo sticks are a bit wild in my little house, so I usually just throw both men outside to practice!  But I'm happy that they are happy, and I'm thankful neither has lost interest in the Martial Arts, after all these years.  Master Hall must be doing something right, and having family members participate together really helps everybody involved.  I would encourage kids, parents, and grandparents alike to try Tae Kwon Do and Martial Arts.

Our society needs family togetherness, and what better way can you think of where people of all ages can participate?  All of our lives get so busy and involved, the stress these days is tremendous.  I recommend Tae Kwon Do to anyone and everyone I meet; it's a great family bonder and equalizer."
-"Master Wesley Hall is an excellent Tae Kwon Do instructor.  I enjoy watching him teach the children their forms and exercises but they learn so much more.

They learn manners, balance, patience, confidence, and well being, as well as respect for themselves and others.

Tae Kwon Do brings out the inner strengths while teaching one to control the outer physical strength, something the students will remember for a lifetime.

Master Wesley Hall is a perfect role model and mentor, and will be remembered by his students and their families.

-"I sent my daughter to Tae Kwon Do to learn to defend herself.  She has learned that and so much more! She has learned to have confidence in herself and her abilities,  respect, patience by teaching and training, determination, and how to strive for success.  Anna, age 11 has been with the Kicking Tigers 4 years and counting!"
--Why I Enjoy Sending My Children To Kicking Tigers Tae Kwon Do:
"Children grow so fast and learn many behaviors and attitudes, some good ones and some not so good.  I have noticed that by going to Tae Kwon Do, my boys have enhanced their many good behaviors and attitudes.

The improvements that I have seen are:

Handling their responsibilities better.
Controlling their tempers better.
Showing more respect towards others.
Listening better.
Having more confidence in themselves.
Overcoming their fear of performing in front of an audience.

From what I have observed over the past two years, Tae Kwon Do for my boys is a well-balanced program, which provides good physical fitness, good mental challenges, good friends, and lots of fun for all."
-"We enrolled Joseph in Tae Kwon Do about two years ago. You see, Joseph was not interested in more traditional sports, yet he needed some physical activity.  Little did we know how important Tae Kwon Do would become.  Not only has his coordination and fitness improved, his confidence has soared.  He can stand in front of people with confidence.  Knowing he could defend himself if needed, Joseph projects a more capable, self-confident aura.

As he gets older, Joe will be faced with many temptations such as drugs and alcohol.  The Kicking Tigers gives Joseph and many other children guidance and support to stay on the straight path. He is surrounded by positive role models giving him more armor for the daily peer pressure he will encounter.

We are very thankful that we have found Tae Kwon Do."

--"I wish to express my thanks for all that you do. My two oldest children and I started Tae Kwon Do in September of 2004.

My son, Nathaniel, was a painfully shy child before we began. He has shown increased confidence and control these past months. He truly is coming out of his shell.

My daughter, Josie, was a bit rambunctious. She has shown a marked improvement in her behavior and now chooses to talk about conflict rather than hit her brothers.

As for myself, I found that you are never too old to accomplish anything. At 37, I had reservations about my ability to participate in an activity like Tae Kwon Do. I have found that you can. In addition to a sensible diet, Tae Kwon Do has been the catalyst for me to loose 45 pounds (20 more to go).

My family has grown closer and stronger through courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, indomitable spirit, and respect.

I strongly recommend anyone looking for a fun and exciting way to spend time with your children to sign up for Tae Kwon Do. It has done remarkable things for my family. Thank you again."

--"When my sons were very young they were both very interested in the martial arts. They loved to watch the Power Rangers when they were 4 and 5 years old. This led them to watch other martial artists like Chuck Norris and of course Bruce Lee. Michael, the oldest boy, started bugging us around the age of 6 to take him to TaeKwonDo lessons.

So we did some researching and found a class at Mockingbird Heights Community Center. Michael was a very shy boy but insisted that he wanted to learn how to be another Bruce Lee. I remember Michael and Joey's first few classes, Master Hall had to walk all the way up to Michael just to hear what Michael had to say. The boys were relentless and insistent that I should take the lessons with them. After sitting on the side for a couple of months, I gave in and started taking classes with them. It only took a few short months to see that Master Hall and TaeKwonDo were just what we needed.

Michael has gone from a shy, unconfident little boy to an outgoing very confident young man. Joey never has been shy but TaeKwonDo has also helped Joey. He has become a more confident and respectful young man. We, as a family, have been involved with Master Hall and the USA TaeKwonDo team for almost seven years now. Joey is set to test for his purple belt and Michael at the age of thirteen is working on his second degree Black Belt. My boys are young men now and Master Hall's teachings of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, indomitable spirit and respect are deeply rooted in who they are now and I'm sure, who they will become. I am very proud of my children and how they have never given up. I'm sure that none of us will ever forget what we have learned from Master Hall and all the instructors at the school. Thanks Master Hall."

--"... I am seeing a difference in all of them (3 boys) in different areas of their lives. Everything from confidence to the character issues they struggle with (and are growing in). Thank you again. And May the Lord Bless your generosity!!"
--"When we enrolled Danny in Tae Kwon Do about two years ago, we could have never imagined the impact it played on his life, he has gained so much confidence. Danny has improved his ability to focus during distractions. His teachers at school have even noticed! Danny has felt the exhilaration of persevering especially when a task is difficult. I have overheard Danny chanting the motivation phrase "no excuses, I can do it" while trying to gain the courage to dive in the deep water at swimming lessons. As you can see, the lessons taught in Master Hall's class extend way beyond Tae Kwon Do. It is more than an extracurricular activity. Tae Kwon Do has become Danny's passion, a part of his identity.

Danny has found acceptance and true caring with the Kicking Tigers. USA Tae Kwon Do is a safe place for children to gain skills and confidence. Unlike many sports activities, you will never find taunting or name calling. Students are always expected to perform at their best. Whenever a new concept is being taught, Danny knows that he can try without worrying about being teased, even if his technique is less then perfect.

Tae Kwon Do has also given Danny an opportunity to experience many positive role models. While other children zone out in front of video games, Danny would rather practice Tae Kwon Do. While other children act out violent TV dramas, Danny acts out being a Tae Kwon Do Master like Master Hall. Tae Kwon Do has been a blessing for our family and we are grateful."

--Why I send my sons to Kicking Tigers Tae Kwon Do:
"As a young boy I was tall and skinny and was an easy target for neighborhood bullies. My sons have the same outward appearance now that I had then. I never learned a good way to protect myself from those bullies. So I wanted my boys to learn from a professional how to do so. I never want my boys to go through what I endured. Thanks to Kicking Tigers Tae Kwon Do I think they will be able to take care of themselves in any situation."
